Our business is a small family operated tour company started in 1978 by Don and Margaret McPhail, and operated by us since 1995.  Our speciality is senior tours - escorted tours for senior citizens in New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific Islands. 

I guess what we offer as owner operators is that you know exactly who is going to be looking after you, and in most cases also driving the coach during your tour as we accompany all the tours ourselves. Also by travelling with the boss you will find we are often able to do some extra "little bits" if time allows. Our incurable curiosity means we just have to have a look "up there" sometimes.

Our speciality is to as much as possible, explore the back roads rather than the main highways and take you to places where the "big boys" don't go. Our groups are generally around 20 - 30 people which also allows us a lot more flexibility.

Our package prices are genuinely inclusive of all your expenses including your top quality dinner, bed & breakfast accommodation, all travel costs, all admissions, and departure taxes.

Although our business has been traditionally Hamilton based, we now have travellers from all parts of New Zealand. As we live in Katikati we are able to pick up passengers on our way to our main pick up point at Founders Theatre in Hamilton. With the establishment of our Rotorua business we are also able to offer a shuttle service en-route from there to Hamilton. A pick up service from Whangamata is also available. For travellers from further afield we can arrange motel accommodation and car storage in Hamilton and can pick you up from that motel. Most of our overseas tours depart from Auckland and we can meet you at that airport if that suits better. Some of our farther South clients fly direct from Christchurch or Wellington to Australia and we meet them at the airport there.

If you wish to spend some extra time overseas before or after our tour, that can be arranged also.

A number of our passengers have travelled with us a lot and are a very friendly group, so don't worry if you are on your own as we can pair you up with someone nice if you wish. You can of course have a room to yourself for a little extra cost.
